Born in Northern Israeli city of Haifa in 2003, Itamar Feinberg has recently graduated from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv, studying with professors Asaf Zohar and Arie Vardi, currently continuing his studies at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin with Eldar Nebolsin.
Itamar was awarded The Best Israeli Performer Prize at the 2026 Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master International Competition. He has previously won multiple First prizes in national piano competitions in Israel, and starred as soloist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the Israel Camerata Jerusalem and Sinfonietta Beer-Sheba, among others, with upcoming engagements in the 2026/27 seasons. Itamar is also an avid chamber musician, who curates and performs chamber music series, often broadcast on radio and television.
He has been a long-time participant of Murray Perahia’s summer course at the Jerusalem Music Centre, and took part in masterclasses with Igor Levit, Jerome Lowenthal, Achilles Della-Vigne and Peter Frankl.
In 2021, he was selected as a member of the Young Jury of the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition and performed in the Rubinstein Virtual Piano Festival (2020).
