The Razumovsky Academy is an elegant and practical venue that can be hired exclusively by individuals, groups and organisations for a variety of purposes. It comprises a performance space as well as reception and practise rooms with adjoining kitchen and three bathroom facilities. The venue is fitted with video and audio equipment and is available for hire for concerts, rehearsals, filming and recording, as well as live streaming.
VENUE & CAPACITIES
The Razumovsky Academy is a well-equipped and versatile event space minutes away from Kensal Green and Kensal Rise stations, Zone 2. The interior is beautifully appointed with aged wood features and exposed brickwork throughout.
The auditorium is approximately 80 square metres and comfortably seats up to 80 people concert-style.
The use of our Steinway model D grand piano (ex Fou Ts’ong) is available at additional cost for recordings and performance. The model D Grand piano is not available for practicing.
Our three Steinway grand pianos are beautifully maintained, regularly serviced and tuned, however, if you would like one of the pianos tuned especially for your event we can arrange this at an additional cost.
The Recital Hall has a 25 square metre performance stage with adjustable stage lighting. The following is also available:
- Music stands
- Chairs
- Kitchen facilities – tea / coffee
- 2 well appointed bathrooms and 3 toilets
- Meter parking nearby
VENUE HIRE
For evening events (commencing after 6pm) the Hall is hired at a flat rate. This includes the exclusive use of the Recital Hall, rehearsal studio (Green Room) with Steinway model B grand piano, double reception room, kitchen, bathrooms. Additional rehearsal time prior to evening performance is negotiable.
With any evening hire there is always at least one Razumovsky Academy representative present at the venue.

Solo artists and ensembles are able to rehearse, make audio and video recording and live-stream their performances to their online audience, providing adherence to recommended safety measures. We are happy to talk through the options available and always pleased to hear from performers and promoters who wish to make use of our versatile spaces for their own performances, rehearsals, auditions and events. We are happy to discuss packages to suit your individual requirements. Discounts are available for charities and emerging artists.
