Since its creation in 2005, the Razumovsky Academy provided a significant number of exceptionally gifted young musicians with an inspiring environment of learning from the world’s finest artists and teachers, leading towards the highest levels of performance and artistry. The young musicians won numerous international competitions and awards, developed distinguished careers in music performance and teaching as well as being appointed to principal positions in major orchestras (see Alumni page). They took part in masterclasses, gave concerts at prestigious venues, including Wigmore Hall, and performed at numerous international music festivals and concert series.

“I salute the Razumovsky Academy and urge everyone to support this wonderful enterprise. Internationalism in the arts is vital. In showing how they are enriched by exposure to world class musicians, the young Razumovsky’s are a beacon to us all.” Dame Janet Suzman
