The Razumovsky Trust and Razumovsky Academy were established in 2005 to provide musical excellence and develop exceptional musical talent. Since its inception, the Trust has staged numerous Razumovsky Ensemble and Academy concerts and masterclasses in the UK and abroad, supporting over 500 outstanding exceptionally gifted musicians many of whom achieved outstanding careers in the field of classical music.
Razumovsky Academy students have participated in masterclasses with distinguished musicians and teachers such as Ida Haendel, Maxim Vengerov, Ana Chumachenko, Vadim Repin, Sergej Krylov, Kolja Blacher, Henning Kraggerud, Maxim Rysanov, Lars Anders Tomter, Alexander Chaushian and Oleg Kogan.
In 2018 activities of the Razumovsky Academy moved to its own built premises with an acoustically acclaimed Recital Hall, where Razumovsky Trust’s concerts and masterclasses now take place.
